Rating System

Since this is a blog about books, I decided to rate the books I've read with books; five of my favourites. The order of the books in those little pictures do not indicate that I love one more than the others (Except the last one. Jane Eyre will eternally be my most cherished.)

5 - This book is perfect. Sometimes I stop what I do and think about it's perfection. I probably spent hours lying in my bed and looking at it lovingly.

4 - There are a few little flaws or there was just a hint missing to make it a book I'd marry, if such a thing were possible, but all in all it was a great book.

3 - The book was good and I really did liked it, most of the times, but there were a few things that irritated me.

2 - It was okay I guess. You can get through it, at time it's nice but it just wasn't really for me. Could just be because of my preference though.

1 - I really struggled to get through it. There was a reason I didn't quit it but I didn't really enjoy it.
0 - I just couldn't get through to the end. There must be something really wrong with the book because I don't usually quit books.

If anyone is interested, the books (from left to right) are:
"The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger
"The Ocean at the End of the Lane" by Neil Gaiman,
"The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt,
"A Study in Scarlet" by Arthur Conan Doyle" and
"Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Brontë
